Your hosts Kenny and Dorothy welcome you to Inverness and to their comfortable and well appointed Silverstrands Guest House. Situated in a quiet location, yet just 5 minutes walk from the Inverness city centre, the guest house is the ideal Inverness base for anyone in the city for work or leisure purposes whether for a short city break or longer term stay whilst touring the beautiful Scottish Highlands.
Eight rooms are available within the guest house, comprising five double rooms, 2 singles and family room. Three of the double rooms are en suite and the others have access to adjacent WC and bathroom facilities. All rooms feature flat-screen digital televisions, free Wi-Fi, and tea and coffee making facilities.
Sundry items and toiletries are available on request. Accommodation rates start from £25 per person per night and include a full cooked Scottish breakfast or continental alternatives.
For those staying in Inverness for an extended period, long term rates apply, offering savings and a welcome home from home in the city. Silverstrands Guest House is just minutes from bus and train routes and close to the all the city centre amenities and attractions, including the many good restaurants, shops and nightlife options.
There are walking tours of the city which take in the most popular historic and contemporary sights. Outside the city there are many further attractions, not least of which is Loch Ness.
Take a boat trip on the loch and search for 'Nessie', its most famous resident. Urquhart Castle is situated on the banks of the loch and is well worth a visit for some excellent photo opportunities.
There are also plenty of options for enjoying Scotland's two most famous exports; whisky and golf. Spend the days as you wish and come home to comfort, peace and quiet afforded by Silverstrands Guest House.
